Dr. John grew up in Brooksville, a small town on the west coast of Florida. He graduated from Florida State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science. Following his time at FSU, he attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic medicine degree.

He received his first certification in the veterinary field in 2013 when he completed his course work in Veterinary Orthopedic Manipulation or VOM. In 2018, he completed his certification at the Canine Rehabilitation Institute to become a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant.

He started working with Dr. Mason in 2014 at Florida Wild Veterinary Hospital and made the transition with her when she opened FVR in 2018. Dr. John lives in Deland and loves to spend any spare time with family and his dogs at the beach. He enjoys all sports especially football and running.
