Platelet Rich Plasma

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy harnesses the healing properties in your dog's own blood to treat osteoarthritis, ligament/tendon injuries, and chronic pain. A veterinarian draws a small amount of blood and spins it in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. These platelets contain growth factors that stimulate tissue regeneration and repair.
