Lauren Baker
Rehabilitation Therapist
Lauren is a 2022 Stetson University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and a minor in studio art. Shortly after graduating, she joined the FVR team and has loved every minute of it! Before starting at FVR, she interned at the Marine Science Center in Ponce Inlet rehabilitating injured sea turtles, gopher tortoises, freshwater turtles, and other reptiles. Her interest in veterinary medicine can be traced back to high school where she participated in Veterinary Assisting courses as part of her curriculum. At the same time, she was an officer of the Future Farmers of America (FFA) and competed in veterinary Career Development Events (CDE).
At home, Lauren has a blue ribbon show bunny named Theo, and a cuddly tabby cat named Toby. In her free time, she enjoys digital drawing, binge-watching her favorite TV shows and movies, video-gaming, fishing, and skateboarding. She is so excited to officially be a part of your pet's rehab journey. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry companions!
